Welcome to Allen Temple A.M.E. Church
Greetings!

There is a vision that God has been stirring up at Allen Temple, Tampa. It is a vision of a community of followers of Christ who are experiencing the transforming power of the Spirit of God and sharing that power with the world around us. At Allen, ministry is happening, lives are being changed and made better, youth are active, young adults are integrally involved in the life of the church, marriages and families are strengthened, lay leaders are empowered, and much more.

If you find this to be the cry of your own heart, you may find the community of Allen Temple to be what your heart is longing for. Pray and ask God where He would have you serve in this ministry; then join us in reaching out to and serving a world that is desperate for true transformation.

Pastor Michael K. and Lady Tamira V. Bouie

souper bowl_manPre-Game to the Y.P.D. Annual "Souper"Bowl of Caring

All worshipers are asked and encouraged to wear their favorite football team jerseys to church (Tampa Bay Bucs, Miami Dolphins, Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Giants, Florida A&M, Howard University, USF, University of Miami or Bethune-Cookman University).

The Souper Bowl of Caring encourages our YPDers to use the time leading up to the Super Bowl to collect donations or canned goods, or both, to help fight hunger and poverty in our community. The vision God has put on our hearts is to see Super Bowl weekend become the largest time of giving and serving in Tampa!

Our 5th Sunday "pre-Souper Bowl of Caring" calls YPDers and youth to action -- making a difference in the lives of others through this simple movement of caring and sharing.2012 super bowl
